Lijp
Exposition Prikkels (incentives)

Lijp is a young multidisciplinary art collective from Zwolle. We are six individuals with different ways of thinking and living. We are a open minded collective thats curious about new forms of art and story telling.

Prikkels is the debut exposition from our collective. This exposition is about being human and the incentives (subjects) around us. Many subjects are known to us by the daily delivery of it. We want to search for our own subjects or subjects that also surround you daily and show them to you by our own means.

Chackras

Its in us all, some are deeply connected with it while other don't have a clue. Chakra's are part of your core of you being human. They are connected to all the elements and thats why its unthinkable that you wouldn't notice them.

The Connection between humans and nature.

Something we are losing more and more as humanity. While it is something that will always be present. However we place ourselves above it convinced of the fact that those who are aware of it do not belong in our current society.

The Soul

A indescribable part of us being human, we don't have any influence over it yet we wan't this to be possible. He arises when we get born and disappears when we die. He can be declared holy or be cursed for eternity. It is part of us without knowing what it does.

Human influence on nature

Back in the days humans and nature had to live together. This is something thats rare nowedays. Humanity has made it possible to always enforce their own agenda. No wheater keeps the human at home and no terrain can't be build upon.

Natural disasters

The times that nature fights back, shows that its not weak. These terrifying happenings for us show that humanity isn't on top of the food chain and that still in moments of crises humans have to adept.

The proces of coming out

A quest for everyone who gets confronted with it. For one a perfect straight road but for the other it is a path with many squiggles and obstacles. But with the hope that at the end of the road happines will be found.
